Lord Aeck Sargent – Historical Preservation. Old City Hall was built in 1910 to serve as both City Hall + Fire House. After remaining vacant for 15+ years, this piece of history was dangerously close to being torn down in a few years ago. The roof was caving in and was totally uninhabitable. It took some persuading to the local government of Griffin but Lord Aeck Sargent‘s Historical Preservation experts were able to turn this blight in downtown Griffin into a source of town pride. They even host a Market in the fire engine bay on weekends.
